Wayzata Senior Pictures | Adriana’s Flower-Filled Senior Pictures Session in Wayzata

Senior year deserves to be celebrated in a way that feels both meaningful and unforgettable—and Adriana did just that with her dreamy, flower-filled senior session in the Wayzata area. She booked my Deluxe senior package, which gave us room to slow down, savor the locations, change outfits, and create a gallery full of variety, personality, and timeless elegance.

From lush garden blooms to the breezy shoreline, Adriana’s session reflects everything I love about photographing Wayzata seniors—nature, elegance, and a little adventure.

Stop One: Noerenberg Gardens

We kicked off the evening in one of the most picturesque spots in the west metro: Noerenberg Gardens. Adriana arrived in the sweetest short pink dress paired with sassy white cowboy boots—a combo that was playful, feminine, and perfectly her.

To top it off, she brought a bouquet of fresh flowers that matched her outfit beautifully. It wasn’t just a prop—it set the tone for the entire session. With the sun glowing behind her, Adriana moved through the gardens like she’d stepped out of a classic summer editorial shoot.

She pranced through the blooming paths, and headed toward the beautiful pergola, which framed her perfectly. Noerenberg could have easily filled an entire gallery on its own, but with our Deluxe session time, Adriana got to explore even more of Wayzata.

Downtown Wayzata Outfit Switch

For the streets and storefronts of downtown Wayzata, Adriana slipped into a denim skirt and a flowy tank top—fresh, casual, and perfect for a second look. This outfit brought a completely different vibe: relaxed confidence, modern style and a little sophisticated sass.

We wandered along the streets making stops wherever the backdrops and lighting felt inspiring. I just LOVE downtown Wayzata in the summertime. The storefronts and restaurants are decorated so beautifully with pots of giant, bright flowers and it makes the most beautiful scenery for senior pictures!

And the variety! A simple walk can create such a wide variety in a gallery, from white storefronts, to brick, to blue and white, to flowers – it just never ends.

The Grand Finale: Docks + Wayzata Beach

Adriana saved the most show-stopping look for last—a long, elegant white dress that flowed with every step. It was a stunning choice that made the final part of her senior session feel so elevated and sophisticated. It’s an absolutely timeless look, making sure her senior pictures will never be out of style.

We headed to the docks along Lake Minnetonka, where the pink sun setting behind her created the most dreamy backdrop. The sunlight reflected off the lake and wrapped her in the prettiest pastel glow.
She sat peacefully on the docks, then stood up and strutted down the docks ending in some feminine twirls that were absolutely beautiful! I love to incorporate movement as much as possible in photos so they do not look too stiff or posed!

The light was too perfect to stop there, so we jaunted over to Wayzata Beach, where tall cattails framed her perfectly . Adriana kicked off her shoes, relaxed in the grass and just took it all in! These images feel peaceful, timeless, and deeply true to who she is—an ambitious young woman ready to step into her future with confidence and grace.
